Banks and leasing companies needed better visibility into vehicle condition, location and audit status across multiple dealerships.
Contribution
Designed audit workflows, dashboards, vehicle detail views, case management and damage reporting flows.
Outcome
Created a structured experience connecting field auditors, coordinators and financial stakeholders through one platform.

Overview
A fleet audit platform designed to support banks and leasing companies managing vehicle inspections across multiple locations.
The platform connects field auditors, coordinators and financial stakeholders by combining vehicle data, inspection results, AI-supported assessments and audit history into one digital workflow.
The Challenge
The platform needed to support multiple user groups with different goals and workflows.
Field auditors required a simple way to inspect vehicles, capture information and document damages on-site. Coordinators needed to manage assignments and monitor audit progress, while banks required a clear overview of vehicle condition, history and status.
My Contribution
As the UX/UI Designer, I focused on designing the main user flows, information structure and interface concepts across the platform.
My work included:
workflow design
Dashboard structure and data visualization
Vehicle detail views
Damage reporting flows
Case management and assignment flows
Status visualization and filtering concepts
I collaborated closely with the Product Owner to understand business requirements, structure complex information and translate processes into user-friendly solutions for development.
Design Process
I started by understanding the complete audit lifecycle and mapping how information moved between different users and
stages of the process.
From there, I created user flows and structured the information hierarchy to ensure that each user could quickly access
the information relevant to their role.
The designs were iterated through discussions with the Product Owner and refined into prototypes and
implementation-ready interfaces for the development team.
Key Decisions
Prioritizing information hierarchy
The platform contained many different data points, from vehicle status and inspection results to historical audits and
damage information.
I focused on presenting the most important information first and creating clear visual relationships between overview
screens and detailed views.
Designing for multiple roles
Instead of creating one generic experience, the interface was structured around the different needs of auditors,
coordinators and financial stakeholders.
Each role required different levels of detail, actions and information visibility.
The Outcome
The project established a structured digital workflow connecting vehicle inspections, audit management and fleet
visibility within one platform.
The designed flows and interfaces provided a foundation for development and supported collaboration between
business stakeholders, product teams and engineers.
About
I'm Martin Winter, a Product Designer based in Berlin.
I design enterprise applications and digital products by translating complex business requirements into intuitive user experiences. Working closely with Product Managers, Engineering teams and stakeholders, I help turn ideas into products that are practical to build and valuable to use.
The existing platform supported dealership teams throughout the customer lifecycle but required continuous improvements in workflows, usability and information structure. The challenge was evolving complex processes while maintaining consistency across multiple automotive applications.
Contribution
Contributed to design system foundations, interface consistency and collaboration with Product Owners and
Engineering teams.
Outcome
Created clearer user flows, improved overviews and more structured interfaces supporting dealership teams in their daily operations. Helped establish more consistent product experiences across a growing automotive SaaS ecosystem.

Service & Customer Lifecycle
Overview
An enterprise SaaS platform supporting automotive dealerships throughout the customer lifecycle — from initial lead analysis and customer contact to vehicle offers, contracts, delivery and after-sales processes.
The platform connected sales activities, customer information and operational workflows into one integrated environment used by dealership teams.
The Challenge
The platform covered multiple stages of the customer journey and supported different dealership roles with different goals and responsibilities.
Sales teams needed efficient ways to manage leads and customer interactions, while managers required structured overviews and visibility into ongoing activities.
My Contribution
As a UX/UI Designer, I focused on improving existing workflows and designing new product capabilities based on business needs, user feedback and process analysis.
My work included:
Analyzing existing customer and internal workflows
Identifying usability issues and proposing improved user flows
Designing new features for customer-facing and internal applications
Creating interface concepts, prototypes and implementation-ready designs
Improving overviews, lists, filtering and data presentation
Supporting consistency through reusable UI patterns and design system foundations
Collaborating with Product Owners and Engineering throughout implementationDamage reporting flows
I collaborated closely with the Product Owner to understand business requirements, structure complex information and translate processes into user-friendly solutions for development.
Design Process
I started by understanding how users worked with the existing platform and where processes created unnecessary complexity.
By analyzing workflows and discussing requirements with stakeholders, I identified opportunities for improvement and translated them into clearer user flows, interface concepts and functional designs.
For new features, I designed both customer-facing experiences and internal workflows, ensuring that different user roles could complete their tasks efficiently.
Key Decisions
Simplifying complex business processes
The platform supported multiple connected processes across the customer lifecycle, from lead analysis and customer communication to offers, contracts and delivery.
I focused on understanding the real working process behind each feature and redesigning flows to make tasks clearer, faster and more intuitive for users.
Designing for multiple roles
New features often affected both customer-facing experiences and internal teams managing the process.
I considered both perspectives when designing solutions — ensuring that customer interactions were simple while internal workflows remained efficient and manageable.
The Outcome
Created more user-friendly workflows and clearer product experiences across different stages of the customer lifecycle.
The improvements provided a stronger foundation for further product evolution, with better alignment between user needs, business processes and technical implementation.

Martin was an exceptional student at CareerFoundry. During his UX design course, he mastered a complete project from scratch. His solutions for different kinds of problems are both functional and appealing. His design language is laying with the trends. He was able to work out nice reduced simple user flows.
He is a fast learner and picks up the feedback to grow. I'm curious to see where he'll be in a few years...
